Meditation: The first inquiry is I'd like you to inquire you. See yourself exactly as you are and examine exactly who you are. Most often we are caught up in how we want to be or we escape with ideas of who we were. Very rarely do we examine exactly who we are at this moment. How is life going? Do you find your thoughts lost in the past or preoccupied with the future? Most people miss this and so often we are not present in the moment. We get lost by dwelling in distractions. Sometimes it takes an emergency or a situation for us to finally take a step back and actually see exactly where we are. I know this question can be painful, but wouldn't you rather do it in the time of non-crisis then to observe it in the moment of turmoil? Just examine who are you really, right now, in this moment, at this time in your life. Be in touch, meditate, be mindful. Contemplate is this really how I want to be?
